The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claims to have killed over 80 Pakistani military and intelligence personnel during a major coordinated offensive, dubbed "Operation Almas," targeting Gwadar and surrounding coastal regions.

According to a statement issued on 27 October by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the operation commenced on 22 October and hit critical military installations, intelligence facilities, and security outposts. The insurgent group alleged that its forces seized control of a major Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) camp in Gwadar for more than 20 hours amid intense fighting. The BLF also stated that its fighters destroyed 12 armoured vehicles and supply trucks, downed four quadcopters alongside two surveillance drones, and briefly overran two police stations.

The separatist group highlighted that the offensive was named in honour of Commander Almas Baloch, a female fighter who played a central role in both strategic planning and battlefield leadership. Major Gwahram Baloch issued warnings of further assaults targeting Pakistani military infrastructure and economic projects linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The extensive casualties and operational claims made by the BLF have not been independently verified. Pakistani authorities have routinely dismissed previous statements by insurgent groups in the volatile, resource-rich province as exaggerated propaganda. (With inputs from Agencies)
