A 17-year-old from Wisconsin, US, is facing serious criminal charges after allegedly murdering his parents as part of a broader plan to assassinate former President Donald Trump, according to recently unsealed federal court documents.

The authorities say Nikita Casap is accused of fatally shooting his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer, in their home on February 11. The teen was initially arrested by police in WaKeeney, Kansas, after being found with a stolen SUV, a firearm, and other items allegedly taken from the crime scene, including cash, jewellery, and banking records.

Federal investigators uncovered disturbing material during their investigation, including written plans, text messages, and a self-proclaimed manifesto found on Casap’s phone. The documents detail a plan to assassinate Trump and incite a political uprising. Casap reportedly believed that by killing his parents, he could gain the financial resources and independence necessary to carry out his plans.

Further evidence allegedly links Casap to 'The Order of Nine Angles', a neo-Nazi group, which is a Satanic, left-hand path movement and extremist network that began in the United Kingdom and has since spread internationally. Allegedly founded in the 1960s, the group gained broader public attention in the early 1980s due to its promotion of neo-Nazi beliefs and involvement in far-right activism.

Among the items seized was a three-page manifesto advocating for the assassination of Trump as a step toward sparking a political revolution and “saving the white race.” Authorities also discovered references to bomb-making and other violent acts in his communications.

Casap is currently facing nine state felony charges, including two counts of first-degree murder and two counts related to hiding the victims’ bodies. On the federal level, investigators are pursuing additional charges including conspiracy, attempted presidential assassination, and use of weapons of mass destruction.

The case is ongoing as both state and federal authorities continue to investigate potential broader connections to extremist groups and domestic terrorism plots.
