Iran resumes flights from Tehran airport for first time since US-Israel conflict

Cairo: Iran has resumed commercial flights from Tehran’s main international airport for the first time since the conflict with the United States and Israel began around two months ago.

State-run television reported that flights departed on Saturday from Imam Khomeini International Airport, with destinations including Istanbul, Muscat in Oman, and Medina in Saudi Arabia.

Flight tracking platform Flightradar24 indicated that at least three flights bound for Istanbul took off on Saturday morning.

The move comes after Iran partially reopened its airspace earlier this month following a ceasefire with the United States, which brought a halt to the fighting between the two countries.
