YouTuber’s lost phone in Dubai returned to him in Chennai via next flight

Popular Tamil YouTuber Madan Gowri recently shared an experience that highlighted Dubai’s efficiency and safety. He had lost his mobile phone at Dubai Airport, but the device was safely returned to him in Chennai with the combined efforts of Dubai Police and Emirates Airlines.

In a video posted on Instagram, Gowri expressed his gratitude, “I lost my phone a week ago and informed the Emirates staff about the same. They asked me to email them the phone’s details,” he said. After returning to Chennai, he received an email confirming that his phone had been located. “The Dubai police then arranged for the device to be sent back to Chennai free of cost on the next available flight,” he added.

The video has gone viral, with many praising Dubai’s reputation for safety and honesty. “Safest country in the world,” wrote one user. Another recounted a similar experience: “I lost my laptop bag at the T3 terminal while enroute to Chennai from Dubai. I raised a complaint via email; within 3 days I collected the bag at the Chennai airport. You can't beat the quality of service by Dubai Airport and Emirates.”
