NORKA Care for UK Malayalis to go live on October 25 — Don’t miss out!
Keralites living in the UK now have an opportunity to join NORKA Care, the government-backed health and accident insurance scheme for Non-Resident Keralites, through a special online campaign organised by the UK chapter of the Loka Kerala Sabha.
The virtual registration drive is scheduled for 25 October 2025 at 5:30 PM UK time, and is primarily aimed at reaching students and working professionals of Kerala origin residing in the UK. The initiative is part of a global effort by expatriate communities to promote widespread enrolment in the scheme, which becomes effective for overseas Keralites from 1 November 2025.
Affordable family health coverage
NORKA Care offers a comprehensive annual family insurance plan for just ₹13,411, covering a household consisting of husband, wife, and two children under 25. The benefits include:

NORKA Care was born out of decades-long demands by the Malayali expatriate community for a reliable, unified health protection scheme. First conceptualised during earlier Loka Kerala Sabha sessions, it has now evolved into a full-fledged welfare initiative that is both accessible and affordable.
