Indigenisation to be implemented in various sectors in Oman

Muscat: Oman is moving towards indigenisation in the fields of transport, logistics, communications and information technology.

The decision will be effective from January 1 next year. The Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Zayed bin Hamoud Al Mawali, said that policies to replace expatriates with Omani nationals in key sectors will be implemented by 2027.
