F8 ventures invests Rs 3 crores in ‘Curate’

Kochi: Healthtech startup ‘Curate Health’ founded by Kannur natives Dr Vandana Jayakumar and architect Keerthana Jayakumar has raised a funding of Rs 3 crores. The duo are siblings.

The investment was made by an angel funding platform known as the F8 Ventures. The funding platform F8 Ventures was founded by Anish Achuthan, Deen Jacob, Mabel Chacko, and Ajeesh Achuthan for investing in various startups. The team are also the founders of Open Financial Technologies, the first unicorn startup from Kerala.

Curate Health focuses on curing menstrual problems, mental health and weight gain issues faced by women as part of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). The healthtech startup relies on a combination of ayurveda and artificial intelligence for solving the PCOS issues.       

“The new funding will be utilised for strengthening our technology and for spreading our service among a larger number of people,” said Dr Vandana Jayakumar, co-founder and ceo of Curate Health.
