Kannur: The Motor Vehicles Department has temporarily suspended the registration of ‘Napoleon’ caravan owned by E Bull Jet brothers for its illegal modifications. MVD had already sent a show cause notice to the vloggers Ebin and Libin to elucidate over the alterations made in the van. The MVD has suspended the registration by pointing out that the explanations were unsatisfactory.

In the reply to the notice, the E Bull Jet brothers stated that all the alterations they have made in the van abide by the laws and they will not change any of them. Hence, MVD turned to suspend the registration of the vehicle for six months. They also informed that the registration will be cancelled if it is not presented at the Stock Condition. The van shall have to be altered in its original form without any illegal modifications within six months.

It was on August 9 that the vloggers created a ruckus in the Kannur RTO office. They were charged Rs 6,400 for the restyling of the van and fined Rs 42,000 for the illegal alterations. But the E Bull Jetters denied paying it. Later, the police registered 9 cases over Ebin and Libin on several grounds including the violence at the RTO office, threatening officers, calling up for violence through social media and violating Covid protocols. The visuals of using ambulance sirens while driving through other states also hit back at the vloggers.
