Hospital staff found dead inside hostel in Thiruvananthapuram; cops found note saying ‘I am leaving’

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: A young woman was found dead inside a house in Neyyattinkara on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Anjali Rani, a native of Attingal.
She was reportedly found hanging in her room. Anjali worked as a staff member at a private hospital in Neyyattinkara. She had been staying as a paying guest in Neyyattinkara for job convenience.
Anjali, who is married, shared the room with four other staff members of the same hospital. As she was on night duty on Friday, she had Saturday off. The three roommates who were with her had gone for duty, leaving her alone in the house.
When Anjali was not seen outside for a long time, others checked and found her hanging inside the room. The police from Neyyattinkara reached the spot and conducted an inspection.
A note reading “I am leaving” was recovered from near the body. However, the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
