Balabhaskar’s death: Manager Vishnu Somasundaram appears for polygraph test

Kochi: Vishnu Somasundaram has appeared for a polygraph test in connection with the death of violinist Balabhaskar. Vishnu Somasundaram appeared at the CBI office on Saturday.

Vishnu, who was Balabhaskar’s manager, is an accused in the gold smuggling case. Balabhaskar’s relatives had alleged that the violinist was killed by the gold smuggling gang. It is in this context that Vishnu is being subjected to a polygraph test.

The CBI will also subject Kalabhavan Sobi to a polygraph test as he had accused that Balabhaskar’s death was a planned murder. Sobi had stated that he saw a group of people attacking Balabhaskar.

On Saturday, Sobi had said that he would reveal the names of the gang members who attacked Balabhaskar. In this context, Sobi’s polygraph test result will prove crucial. Sobi is expected to undergo the test in the afternoon.
