Venjaramoodu murder: DCC leaders directly involved in crime, alleges AA Rahim

Thiruvananthapuram: DYFI state secretary A A Rahim stated that the Congress leaders have a role in the Venjaramoodu twin murder case. DCC leaders are directly involved in the conspiracy of the murder along with the accused, he alleged.

Congress leader Purushothaman Nair was present along with the accused in the crime spot. Key accused Sajeev and Congress block president directly took part in the crime. Unni aka Biju who was arrested the other day is INTUC constituency president and Congress ward president. He is also accused in another murder case. Congress leaders who speak for peace have not expelled him from the party yet, Rahim criticised.

Congress has taken over legal protection of the culprits who are also party workers. Congress leaders are trying to insult the victims in order to save face. With the intention to avoid punishing the culprits in future, Adoor Prakash and others are trying to raise suspicions about the investigation. Congress is questioning the reliability of the investigation agency for this purpose, Rahim alleged.
