HC disqualifies Vellappally Natesan from SNDP Yogam General Secretary's post

Thiruvananthapuram: The Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP Yogam) has removed Vellappally Natesan from the post of general secretary following an order by the Kerala High Court.
The order was issued by a Bench led by Justice T. R. Ravi on a petition filed by writer and social critic late M K Sanu.
In its ruling related to the SNDP election case, the High Court also disqualified the entire board of directors of the organisation. Thushar Vellappally was also removed from his position.
The court found that the organisation had failed to submit audit accounts for three consecutive years. According to the ruling, statutory requirements under the Companies Act were not complied with, leading to the disqualification of the office-bearers and directors.
The petition was filed by a dissident faction within SNDP Yogam alleging irregularities and non-submission of financial statements.
