Mukesh’s ‘Athijeevanam’ drove attention to pain and sufferings: VD Satheesan

Thiruvananthapuram: Leader of Opposition in Kerala V D Satheesan condoled the demise of Mathrubhumi News cameraman A V Mukesh, who was killed in a wild elephant attack on Wednesday morning while reporting.
“Mukesh’s media career was not limited to his job of recording news footage. Mukesh has always tried to bring public attention to the sorrows and sufferings of those neglected by society. This is evidenced by his 110 ‘Athijeevanam’ (survival) stories published in Mathrubhumi.com. Mukesh was able to convey the pain of life experiences in a very effective manner,” Satheesan said.
Satheesan further expressed sorrow at the loss of such a young life, saying that he has no words to comfort Mukesh's family members and colleagues, but shares in their grief.
