Unni Mukundan did not apologise, says FEFKA; action against Vipin Kumar likely

The Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) is preparing to take disciplinary action against former manager Vipin Kumar, alleging that he violated the terms of an agreement reached during dispute resolution talks with actor Unni Mukundan.
The disagreement between Unni Mukundan and Vipin Kumar was recently resolved following discussions mediated by the leadership of FEFKA and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) at the AMMA office. However, FEFKA now accuses Vipin of breaching the settlement terms by providing misleading information in a phone interview with a visual media outlet.
FEFKA General Secretary B Unnikrishnan confirmed to the media that the matter had been amicably settled. Despite this, Vipin Kumar reportedly told the media that the issue was resolved only after Unni Mukundan issued an apology--an assertion FEFKA has strongly refuted.
“The dispute between Unni Mukundan and Vipin Kumar was resolved on Saturday at the AMMA office with the involvement of both FEFKA and AMMA leadership. However, Vipin Kumar's statements to a media outlet on Sunday contradict the agreed-upon understanding,” FEFKA said in an official press release.
“The claim that Unni Mukundan apologised during the discussion is not true. Vipin Kumar’s misrepresentation of the facts is a clear violation of discipline. In light of this breach, FEFKA has decided not to cooperate with Vipin in any organisational capacity and will proceed with disciplinary measures,” the statement added.
