Kerala: A UK-based travel vlogger, Deanna, has gone viral on social media after sharing her first experience watching Kalaripayattu, Kerala’s traditional martial art, during her trip to Thekkady.

In her widely shared video, Deanna captures her reactions as she watches a live performance by the ‘Kadathanadan Kalari Kerala’ troupe, describing it as an unforgettable experience that every visitor to Kerala “can’t miss.”

She described the performance as “intense,” particularly the traditional martial arts sequences at the beginning. “Some parts I had to watch through my fingers…But the end surprised everyone… they whipped out the fire and that's when I COULD NOT get over it,” she added.
