TVM woman who had taken 3 shots of anti-rabies vaccine collapses and dies

Nedumangad: A woman who had taken anti-rabies vaccine and was undergoing treatment after a dog bite collapsed and died. Anadu native Abhija (24) was the deceased. She is daughter of Satheesan and Sathi Bhai. 

Abhija was bitten by a dog around one and a half months back. She had taken all three vaccines. The last vaccine was taken from Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital on August 17. The woman told her mother on Tuesday morning that she felt dizzy. 

Since it did not look grave at first, it was not taken seriously. Sathi Bhai found Abhija lying unconscious on the floor when she returned from outside.  Although she was rushed to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital, she couldn’t be saved.
