2 younsters injured while performing bike stunts for TikTok in Kollam

Kollam: Two youths, including a 15- year- old, were injured in an accident while performing bike stunts near Pathanapuram here. They have been taken to Punalur Taluk Hospital.

The students were performing stunts on a bridge that connects Elikkattoor and Kannara. Videos of the youngsters trying to wheelie on the bikes have already surfaced on social media.

The accident happened while they were trying to capture videos of their stunts for TikTok. The luxury bike driven by the 15 – year- old hit Elikkattur native Johnson’s bike as they were racing. A third buiker can also be seen in the video.

Although the locals warned them against performing stunts on the bridge, the youngsters did not heed to it. Locals also said that it was only because they wore helmets that nothing unfortunate happened to them.
