Clash over LS defeat: Thrissur DCC president summoned to Delhi

Thrissur: Following the chaos in the DCC office after the Lok Sabha election results, the Congress leadership has summoned the DCC president of Thrissur to Delhi.
The DCC president explained that the dispute was caused by DCC secretary Sajeev Kuriachira under the influence of alcohol. It's also said that he beat up the KSU leader and social media coordinator without provocation.
Meanwhile, Jose Valloor, DCC president, reached Delhi to meet the leaders with the CCTV visuals of the incident. K C Venugopal, V D Satheesan, and K Sudhakaran will examine the visuals.
The dispute over a poster put up by Youth Congress workers against Jose Valloor, T N Prathapan, on the wall of the DCC caused all the chaos on Friday evening.
The uproar started with the allegation that the poster was put up with the knowledge of Sajeevan Kuriachira.
The DCC secretary and a few activists were standing on the ground floor of the building when Jose Valloor arrived, and the clash occurred. Sajeevan allegedly started attacking those who identified themselves as followers of Muralidharan.
