10-year-old says he saw 3 kids getting abducted in Thrissur, probe underway

Thrissur: In a shocking incident, a 10-year-old reported seeing three boys getting kidnapped in a van here. Based on the boy's statement, a team led by Ollur ASP has launched a probe.  

The kidnapping incident is said to have happened around 9 a.m. near Alpara, Pattikad. The Class 5 student claimed he saw three older boys being beaten up before being kidnapped in a van bearing Tamil Nadu registration. He says he saw the incident while returning from the church on his bicycle. 

The CCTV footage also revealed that a minivan had gone through the area. However, police officials are not completely convinced by the child's claims. Furthermore, no child-missing cases were reported at surrounding police stations.
