Thiruvananthapuram: In an interesting turn of events, the police team probing the row involving Mayor Arya Rajendran and KSRTC driver claimed they have received a piece of crucial evidence against the accused driver.

The incident pertaining to the case happened on April 27, when the Mayor and her family got into a heated argument with the KSRTC bus driver Yadhu, alleging he made sexual gestures at them. However, the police were unable to prove whether a person sitting in the backseat of the car would be able to see if the driver made any gestures.

To resolve this, the police team recreated the entire incident and found that the car passenger could indeed see if the bus driver made any gesture. They conducted a mock run from Pattam to Palayam to recreate the incident.

Meanwhile, the probe team will soon submit a charge sheet against Yadhu in connection with a case registered over the complaint filed by Arya Rajendran.
