Rail maintenance work disrupts 8 trains plying through Kerala – Here’s the list of affected services

South Central Railway has announced changes to train services in the Secunderabad Division, owing to Pre Non Interlocking and Non Interlocking work at Khammam station in the Kazipet - Vijayawada section. Below are the cancellations and diversions scheduled from February 3 to February 12, 2025.

Cancellations
Several trains will be fully cancelled as a result of the ongoing work:

1. Train No. 22648: Thiruvananthapuram North (Kochuveli) to Korba Bi-Weekly Superfast Express, leaving Thiruvananthapuram North at 06:15 hrs on February 3, 6, and 10, 2025.
2. Train No. 22647: Korba to Thiruvananthapuram North (Kochuveli) Bi-Weekly Superfast Express, leaving Korba at 19:40 hrs on February 5, 8, and 12, 2025.
3. Train No. 12511: Gorakhpur to Thiruvananthapuram North (Kochuveli) Tri-Weekly Raptisagar Superfast Express, leaving Gorakhpur at 06:40 hrs on February 7 and 9, 2025.
4. Train No. 12512: Thiruvananthapuram North (Kochuveli) to Gorakhpur Tri-Weekly Raptisagar Superfast Express, leaving Thiruvananthapuram North at 06:35 hrs on February 11 and 12, 2025.
5. Train No. 06509: KSR Bengaluru to Danapur Special, leaving KSR Bengaluru at 07:15 hrs on February 3 and 10, 2025.
6. Train No. 06510: Danapur to KSR Bengaluru Special, leaving Danapur at 18:10 hrs on February 5 and 12, 2025.

Diversions
Several trains will be diverted through alternate routes due to the work at Khammam station:

1. Train No. 12642: Hazrat Nizamuddin to Kanniyakumari Superfast Express, leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin at 05:20 hrs on February 3, 8, and 12, 2025. The train will be diverted via Balharshah, Kazipet, Moula Ali 'G' Cabin, Kacheguda, Dhone, Guntakal, Renigunta, and Chennai Egmore, bypassing Vijayawada and Gudur.
2. Train No. 12644: Hazrat Nizamuddin to Thiruvananthapuram Central Swarna Jayanthi Weekly Superfast Express, leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin at 19:40 hrs on February 7, 2025. This service will run via Kazipet, Kacheguda, Dhone, Guntakal, and Renigunta, skipping Warangal, Vijayawada, and Gudur.
3. Train No. 12646: Hazrat Nizamuddin to Ernakulam Jn Millennium Weekly Superfast Express, leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin at 05:10 hrs on February 4 and 11, 2025. This service will also be diverted through Kazipet, Kacheguda, Dhone, Guntakal, and Renigunta, bypassing Warangal, Vijayawada, and Gudur.
4. Train No. 22645: Indore to Thiruvananthapuram North Weekly Superfast Express, leaving Indore at 16:45 hrs on February 3 and 10, 2025. The train will be diverted via Kazipet, Kacheguda, Dhone, Guntakal, and Renigunta, omitting stops at Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, and Gudur.
5. Train No. 12295: SMVT Bengaluru to Danapur Sangamitra Express, leaving SMVT Bengaluru at 09:15 hrs from February 11 to 13, 2025. It will be diverted via Dharmavaram, Guntakal, Sulehalli, Secunderabad, and Kazipet, skipping stops at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Kumarapuram, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Perambur, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Khammam, and Warangal.
6. Train No. 12296: Danapur to SMVT Bengaluru Sangamitra Express, leaving Danapur at 20:15 hrs from February 11 to 13, 2025. This train will also be diverted via Kazipet, Secunderabad, Sulehalli, Guntakal, and Dharmavaram, bypassing Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Perambur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Kumarapuram, Bangarapet, and Krishnarajapuram.
