Koduvally: 14-yr-old dies after under-construction sunshade collapses

Koduvally : A sunshade under construction collapsed on a 14-year-old student Abhindev, claiming his life. The incident occurred around 5:30 pm on Saturday in Koduvally, Kozhikode.

The sunshade was getting cleaned after the construction workers left. Unexpectedly, it collapsed, falling on Abhindev, who was standing beneath it. Locals managed to rescue the boy from under the debris before the fire force arrived. Despite being rushed to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, Abhindev succumbed to his injuries.

Abhindev is survived by his parents, Manoj and Sobhana, and his brothers Amaldev and Athuldev. The last rites will be held on Sunday after post-mortem.
