Nomination of LDF candidate in Kondotty kept aside for not giving details of spouse

Malappuram: The nomination of K T Sulaiman Haji, the LDF independent candidate in Kondotty, has been kept aside for further examination as details of his spouse is not filled in it. The column where details of the spouse should be given has been filled as ‘not applicable’.

Muslim League local leadership had filed a complaint alleging that Sulaiman Haji has two wives. One of the wives is abroad. They got married in Dubai.

The League leaders have also submitted evidence to prove that one of his wives is identified as Rawalpindi native Hira Muhammed Safdar.

The details of the wife and children in Kerala also was not filed along with the nomination. With this, the nomination was kept aside for further legal consultation.
