Sudhakaran should use his words carefully; Decision on attending CPM seminar tomorrow: Salam

Malappuram: Muslim League leader PMA Salam said that he has received the official invitation of CPM to the Palestine solidarity rally and that the party would take a decision tomorrow after due consultation. He said that this is not a matter related to Left Front politics or elections in Kerala and it is a matter that affects all conscientious people.
“There is no public interest in this. This is a human rights issue. How many children die there everyday? It is not a problem relating to any religion or community. This is an attempt to exterminate an entire population. The whole world is against it. We stand with the world’s conscience,” he clarified. Salam also added that Congress needs to answer why it is not conducting similar programmes in solidarity with Palestine.
In response to K Sudhakaran’s ‘dog’ remark, PMA Salam said that the people in high positions like him should use their words carefully. He also suggested that the UDF and Congress leadership should examine under what circumstances Sudhakaran made this comment.
In response to E.T Mohammed’s statement that the league would participate if invited to CPM’s seminar, Sudhakaran made a comment along the lines of, “Should I start barking now thinking that I will be a dog in the next life?”
