Thiruvananthapuram: A media release issued by the Kerala government on Monday said that the age limit for students to avail of bus concession has been increased from 25 years to 27 years.

The government had set the age limit for bus concession at 25 years. Misuse of the facility was cited as the reason. However, the age limit posed a challenge for individuals including research scholars.

An appeal was lodged with the government and the decision to raise the age limit comes in this context. Transport Minister Antony Raju has issued the revised order, the release said.
