Covid death certificate; 200 applications on first day

Thiruvananthapuram: About 200 applications were filed on the first day for Covid death registration. The application is for rectifying any complaints regarding death and to get a standard format of the death certificate. 184 applications were filed until Sunday evening at 7 pm. The application site is https://covid19.kerala.gov.in/deathinfo/ . Within 30 days of application, the discrepancy will be taken up online itself.

As per the official records, 26,258 deaths are reported due to Covid. Health minister Veena George had earlier informed that about 7000 deaths have not been included in the list due to lack of proof and nence, there will be more Covid deaths announced by the government in the coming days.
