Special Vande Bharat service from Chennai to Kozhikode on Christmas day

Chennai: Due to the unprecedented rush, special ‘Vande Bharat’ service has been arranged from Chennai to Kozhikode on Christmas day. The train (06041) will begin journey at 4:30 AM from Chennai Central Station tomorrow and is scheduled to reach Kozhikode at 3:20 PM.

While An AC chair car ticket in the train is priced at Rs 1,530, a passenger will have to spend Rs 3,080 for booking an executive chair car. The train has stops in stations including Perambur, Erode and Shoranur. It has eight coaches in total.

The service is run using the additional rake in the possession of Southern Railway.
