Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvananthapuram Division of Southern Railway has announced temporary diversions for two express trains on select dates in October 2026 due to maintenance works in the Madurai Division.

The changes will affect 16128 Guruvayur–Chennai Egmore Express and 16321 Nagercoil–Coimbatore Express. Both trains will operate through alternative routes on specified dates and will skip several regular stops. Additional stoppages have also been arranged along the diverted routes.
