Sharp-shooter Nawab Shafat Ali Khan joins mission Belur Makhna

Sulthan Bathery: Nawab Shafat Ali Khan, scion of a hunting family famous for shooting down man-eating tigers and dangerous wild elephants, joined the mission to capture Belur Makhna mission.
Whenever there are similar situations of wild animals threatening human life anywhere in the country, Shafat Ali Khan is the most sought after solution. He is a sharp-shooter who has participated in various hunting missions.
Khan has subdued hundreds of dangerous wild animals with his arsenal. Shafat’s stories of hunts are as interesting as those of Kenneth Anderson and Jim Corbett. Khan has been monitoring Belur Makhna along with forest officials. He has now gone to Masinagudi and will return to join the mission team once the tusker crosses the Kerala border.
Khan is son of Sultan Ali Khan Bahadur, who was a famous elephant hunter. His son Askar Ali has also followed along the same steps. Askar Ali shot and killed a man-eating tiger that claimed 13 human lives in Maharashtra.
Makhna is currently five kilometers away from the Kerala border.
