Bank transactions with firm of Kerala CM's daughter: SFIO issues notice to Karakonam Medical College

Thiruvananthapuram: The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has sent a notice to the Karakonam Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI medical college over financial dealings with  Exalogic Solutions, the firm of Kerala chief minister’s daughter Veena Vijayan. 

The SFIO received documents regarding the bank transactions made by the college management with Exalogic during the 2017-18 financial year. Based on this, information regarding the transactions was requested from the medical college.

The notice was given to P Thankaraj, the then administrator of the medical college.  SFIO has requested copies of the agreement signed between the medical college and Exalogic, copies of the work order, and invoices including other supporting documents.
