Santhosh Pandit extends support to ASHA workers, donates Rs 50,000

Thiruvananthapuram: In a show of solidarity, actor and producer Santhosh Pandit donated Rs 50,000 on Tuesday to the ASHA workers who have been protesting for their legitimate demands, including unpaid wages. Pandit stressed that the protest is not politically motivated and that the workers are fighting for fair treatment.

"This protest is not politically motivated. They are protesting without salary, and they are raising legitimate demands. The government should act with sympathy," Pandit stated.

While handing over the donation, Pandit mentioned that this contribution should be seen as just a first step. He also assured that he would offer further support if he can.
