New Delhi: The Kerala government filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court opposing the petition for relaxation in bail conditions sought by Rehana Fathima in a case pertaining to Sabarimala darshan.

The state government informed the Supreme Court that Rehana Fathima had violated the bail conditions several times. Following the verdict on Sabarimala women’s entry, Rehana shared a picture on social media with a caption that she was about to visit Sabarimala. Police registered a case against Rehana noting that this social media post attempted to outrage religious beliefs.

Though High Court granted her bail, the government pointed out that Rehana has violated bail conditions.
