Rs 68.39 crores sanctioned for constructing new buildings in hospitals in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The government has sanctioned the NABARD financial aid amounting to Rs 68.39 crores for constructing new buildings in four hospitals in the state.
Rs 22.24 crores has been sanctioned to the Government Taluk Hospital in Nemom. Similarly, taluk hospital in Elappully will receive Rs 17.50 crores for constructing new buildings and Rs 10.89 crores have been set aside for construction works in Chavakkad Taluk Hospital. The Kuttippuram taluk hospital will also be benefited with Rs 17.85 crores in order to develop its infrastructure.
Health Minister Veena George instructed the hospital authorities to take up the construction works at the earliest by following the necessary guidelines.
