PV Anvar takes a dig at ruling CPM in Kerala, calls Sujith Das and Ajith Kumar saints

Nilambur: Former Nilambur MLA P.V. Anvar has once again lashed out at the ruling CPM and the state government. His recent outburst, made through a Facebook post, targets the government and CPM in connection with the revocation of the suspension of former Malappuram SP Sujith Das.
In a veiled attack on the government, Anvar sarcastically remarked that SP Sujith Das is a saint, M.R. Ajith Kumar is a saint, the Thrissur Pooram has never been disrupted, there has never been a wildlife attack in Kerala, and there is no drug use or trafficking in the state.
Anvar also turned his criticism on the CPM’s response to his actions. In his Facebook post, he said that no matter what is said, the CPM's reply will always be that P.V. Anvar is a gold smuggler. However, he added that they have never been able to catch him. Anvar concluded his post by saying, "This is Kerala; the people are watching everything."
It was following P.V. Anvar's revelations that Sujith Das, the former SP of Malappuram, was suspended. His suspension was later revoked after he spent six months under suspension. Sujith Das had reported to the police headquarters the previous day but had not been assigned a new posting.
Anvar had accused Sujith Das of having connections with gold smuggling gangs, along with ADGP M.R. Ajith Kumar. A voice clip of Sujith Das pleading with Anvar to withdraw the complaint related to the tree felling incident at the camp office, when he was the SP of Malappuram, had sparked controversy at the time.
