Suspected food poisoning: Over 75 people seek treatment after feast at EKM wedding

Udayamperoor: Over 75 people have fallen ill after consuming food at a wedding reception in Malekadu in Ernakulam. 

Food poisoning is suspected. 

People who consumed fish curry at the function on Saturday night felt uncomfortable. The next morning many had to rush to hospitals.  While most of them sought treatment at the Tripunithura Taluk Hospital, a pregnant woman who attended the function was shifted to Ernakulam General Hospital.

Over 20 people continue to be under medical observation.
