‘Revenue Department never received any complaint against ADM Naveen Babu,’ reveals RTI query

Kochi: There were no complaints against Naveen Babu during his tenure as the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Kannur, revealed the Revenue Department's Right to Information (RTI) document. The RTI document clarified that no complaints were registered against him while he was in office.

This information was disclosed in response to an RTI query about whether the Revenue Secretary's office had documented any complaints against Naveen Babu. The RTI reply confirmed that no such complaints had been received. The RTI application was filed by public activist and High Court advocate Adv Kulathoor Jaisingh.

Earlier, the Revenue Department's investigation report, which found no evidence of Naveen Babu accepting bribes, was submitted to the Chief Minister. The report, prepared by Land Revenue Joint Commissioner A Geetha, was forwarded to the Chief Minister by Minister K Rajan. The report stated that there was no proof to support allegations of bribery against the ADM.
