Vadakara: IUML leader and MLA MK Muneer took a jab at the CPM, suggesting a rebranding from Marxist to 'Marx Sanghis' (Marxists with RSS affiliation).

Muneer also lambasted what he termed as an unwarranted campaign by the LDF against UDF's Vadakara representative, Shafi Parambil. He emphasized that the LDF was "scratching their heads with fire".

These comments were made during the inauguration of a protest march to the Vadakara SP office, against the police for not conducting a serious investigation regarding the complaint filed in connection with the circulation of a screenshot with a ‘Kafir’ reference in Vadakara.

Following the Kafir controversy calls for an investigation arose. "Why does the police maintain a cyber wing?" Muneer questioned. "Within a week, they should identify those responsible for spreading Kafir propaganda. If not, police should be held accountable to the Kerala public," he asserted.

Accusing the Chief Minister of focusing on foreign campaigns in Dubai, Singapore, and Indonesia, Muneer contended that internal affairs were being neglected.
