Decomposed body found in canal near Thakaraparambu in TVM, suspected to be of missing man

Thiruvananthapuram: A decomposed body, believed to be that of Joy, has been found in a canal near the railway station in Thakaraparambu. Authorities are close to confirming the identity based on physical characteristics. Local residents alerted officials after spotting the body, which was in an advanced state of decomposition.

Initial reports suggest the body may have been washed into the canal during heavy rains, possibly emerging from the nearby tunnel. The body was found lodged in a pipe before being retrieved.

Emergency services immediately responded to the scene, and the body is currently being shifted to the medical college for further examination.
