Man found dead in house under mysterious circumstances

Pathanamthitta: A man was found dead in mysterious circumstances in his house. Anish Duttan’s (52) body was found by his mother early Tuesday morning. 

Anish, his younger brother and mother are the only inhabitants of the house. On Monday night, Anish, his brother and a friend had consumed liquor at home. Reports said that the three had a verbal altercation. Anish’s mother, Shanthamma, woke up at 2 AM in the morning and found the body of her son.

It was hearing Shantahamma’s cries that the neighbours gathered at the house and informed police. Family said that Anish was suffering from heart-related ailments and had undergone bypass surgery recently. 

Anish’s body was found lying beside a chair in his bedroom. Police said that the cause of death can only be determined after post mortem report is received. Anish is an employee at an event management company. His wife and daughter had been living separately since some time due to their familial issues.
