Live cockroach found in food served on Vande Bharat Express to Kasaragod

In yet another alarming incident concerning food safety, a live cockroach was found in the food served to passengers aboard the Vande Bharat Express travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasargod. According to media reports, the incident took place on Sunday morning. It was recorded on video by a passenger who boarded the train from Chengannur.

The video footage shows the cockroach moving through the food, causing concern among passengers about the hygiene standards aboard this train service.

This incident echoes a similar case three months ago when a cockroach was found in the breakfast served aboard the Vande Bharat Express on its journey from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod, specifically in the egg curry served during breakfast.

Passengers have frequently voiced concerns about the quality of meals served on the Vande Bharat train. These incidents have heightened worries among passengers, particularly during this season when communicable diseases are prevalent.
