Opposition working hand in hand to ensure families get relief: Hibi Eden

Kochi: Kerala Congress MLA Chandy Oommen and Kochi MP Hibi Eden expressed their condolences for the victims of the tragic fire incident in Kuwait.

"It is a moment of grief for the entire Keralite community...It is an unfortunate incident...Besides political differences of opinion the government, the opposition is working hand in hand to ensure that the families get relief...All arrangements at the airport have been made...The bodies will be paid homage and then will be sent to their respective homes," said MP Hibi Eden.

Kerala Congress MLA Chandy Oommen hopes the Kuwait government will take action against the culprits.

"It is a very unfortunate incident but the Central government and the MEA have taken up the issue very seriously and the procedures were carried out quickly," said BJP President K Surendran.

MoS MEA Kirti Vardhan Singh also shared their response.
