Two killed as KSRTC superfast bus collides with scooter in Alappuzha

Alappuzha: In a tragic accident early Monday morning, two men were killed when a KSRTC superfast bus collided with their scooter at Cherthala in Alappuzha. The victims, identified as Murukesh (43) and his relative Sivakumar (28), both natives of Tamil Nadu, died on the spot.

The incident occurred around 5 am on the national highway's north side of the Cherthala-Thankey intersection. The KSRTC bus hit the scooter, resulting in fatal injuries to both riders. 

Murukesh had been working as a painter in the Kanjikuzhy panchayat for several years.
