Kozhikode: A fire erupted in three shops below the Panniyankara flyover in Kozhikode on the evening of Friday, causing significant damage.

The blaze affected a plywood and glass workshop, a tailoring shop, and a bike workshop, all of which were completely gutted. Four fire brigade units, assisted by police and local residents, worked to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby houses.
