Kottayam man hacked to death in an act of revenge: Police

Kottayam: A youth was hacked to death in Karukachal, Kottayam. The deceased has been identified as Binu (36), hailing from Umbidi. Following the incident, the accused Vishnu and Sebastian surrendered at the police station.  

The incident happened at around 9 PM on Sunday. The police officials said that the accused holds a grudge against Binu, leading to the crime. Binu, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to Kottayam medical college. However, he succumbed to injuries by morning. 

Police said that Binu had thrown stones at Sebastian's house for not inviting him to his marriage and threatened Vishnu in his wife's presence, prompting the accused to unleash attack.
