Konkan train timetable changes from October 21; Check revised timings for Mangala, Netravati and others

Payyanur: Train timings on the Konkan route will change from October 21, with the current monsoon timetable, in effect since June 15, set to end on October 20. Several trains, including the Mangala and Netravati Express services, will see changes to their schedules, with departures from Kerala delayed by several hours compared with the current timetable.
The regular timetable will remain in effect from October 21 until June 15 next year. During this period, trains on the Konkan route can operate at speeds of 110-120 kmph, compared with the monsoon speed limit of 40-75 kmph.
Railway authorities have advised passengers to check the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) for the latest train timings.
Revised timings on the Konkan route
Netravati Express
Thiruvananthapuram-Lokmanya Tilak Netravati Express (16346) will continue to depart at 9.15 am. Its revised timings at key stations are:
Ernakulam Junction: 1.10 pm
Shoranur: 4.20 pm
Kozhikode: 6 pm
Kannur: 7.32 pm
Currently, the train reaches Shoranur at 3.40 pm, Kozhikode at 5.05 pm and Kannur at 6.37 pm. The arrival time at Ernakulam Junction remains unchanged at 1.10 pm.
Lokmanya Tilak-Thiruvananthapuram Netravati Express (16345) will have the following revised timings:
Mangaluru Junction: 4.20 am
Kannur: 6.32 am
Kozhikode: 8.07 am
Shoranur: 10.15 am
Ernakulam Junction: 12.20 pm
Thiruvananthapuram: 6.10 pm
Under the current timetable, the train reaches Mangaluru Junction at 5.45 am, Kannur at 8.07 am, Kozhikode at 9.40 am, Shoranur at noon, Ernakulam Junction at 2.10 pm and Thiruvananthapuram at 7.35 pm.
Mangala Express
Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangala Express (12617) will depart from Ernakulam at 1.25 pm, instead of the current departure time of 10.30 am.
Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Express (12618) will have the following revised timings:
Mangaluru Junction: 10.35 pm
Shoranur: 4.10 am
Ernakulam Junction: 7.30 am
Currently, the train reaches Mangaluru Junction at 11.35 pm, Shoranur at 5.15 am and Ernakulam Junction at 8 am.
Revised departure timings for other trains
The departure timings of the following trains from Kerala will also change:
Ernakulam Junction-Ajmer Marusagar Express (12977): 10.25 pm, instead of 6.50 pm.
Ernakulam Junction-Pune Express (22149): 5.15 am, instead of 2.15 am.
Thiruvananthapuram-Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express (12431): 7.15 pm, instead of 2.40 pm.
Ernakulam Junction-Okha Express (16338): 10.25 pm, instead of 8.25 pm.
Thiruvananthapuram North-Chandigarh Sampark Kranti Express (12217): 9.10 am, instead of 4.50 am.
Passengers travelling on these routes are advised to check the revised schedules before departure to avoid inconvenience.
