Kollam: The Kerala government is set to launch the Integrated Land Information Management System (ILIMS) portal on October 22. This initiative aims to streamline all services related to land acquisition, including land tax payments, validation processes, and property mutation.

Consolidation of Services

The portal will integrate the registration, revenue, and survey departments under one roof. The Chief Minister will announce the launch, highlighting the consolidation of over 20 services that are currently accessed through separate logins for the revenue department’s ReLIS portal, the registration department’s PEARL portal, and the survey department’s ‘Ente Bhoomi’ portal.

Benefits for Citizens

The launch of ILIMS aims to simplify the process for citizens by eliminating the need to visit multiple offices. The government will provide authorised land documents directly, thereby reducing the chances of disputes, bureaucratic hurdles, and related issues. Once launched, there will be no need for a separate application for property mutation. The portal will offer services such as obtaining possession certificates.

Expedited Processes

The development of the portal was expedited after it was included in the government's third anniversary special 100-day action plan. This strategic move underscores the government's commitment to enhance land management services for its citizens.
