Kerala’s Exemplary MGNREGS: CM’s first Threads post

Thiruvananthapuram: CM Pinarayi Vijayan is officially active on Meta’s new social media platform ‘Threads’. His first post on the app notes Kerala’s ideal MGNREGA model’s stellar achievements.

‘Proud of Kerala’s exemplary achievements in MGNREGS! We’ve created 965.67 lakh workdays, surpassing the national average and empowering 15,51,272 families. 867.44 lakh workdays were provided for women. This shows the LDF Government’s dedication to the welfare of common people’, the CM wrote on Threads. 

Facebook behemoth Meta officially launched Threads, its text-based rival to Twitter, on Wednesday. Threads is the biggest challenger yet to Elon Musk-owned Twitter, which has seen a series of potential competitors emerge but not yet replace one of social media's most iconic companies, despite its epic struggles.
