Kerala Pre Poll survey: Who’s ahead in 35 key constituencies

With Kerala set to go to the State Assembly polls on April 9, a pre-poll survey conducted by Citizens Opinion Research and Evaluation (CORE) for Mathrubhumi has offered a first look at the state’s political climate.
The Kerala Pre Poll survey, which engaged 31,706 respondents across all 140 constituencies between March 23 and 30, was designed to gauge public sentiment and evaluate the performance of various political alliances. Respondents were asked a decisive question: which alliance’s candidate do you want to win in this constituency?
To gauge the leads, researchers categorised margins into three brackets. A margin between 0 and 2.5% signifies a “Tight Fight”, a lead of 2.51% to 4% indicates a “Slight Advantage”, and any lead above 4% is considered a “Strong possibility” to retain or regain the seat.
