Tragically, a 37-year-old man, Sanal Kumar from Pallippoyil in Kannur, died of sunstroke on Wednesday while undergoing treatment. Several other heat-related incidents have also been reported across the state. In Nadapuram, Kozhikode, an anganwadi worker sustained burns to her right hand while on duty. In Vandoor, Malappuram, a four-year-old child, Isa John, suffered sunstroke while playing outdoors. In Pala, Kottayam, a migrant worker was also affected by sunstroke while at work.
