In minor rejig, Kerala govt appoints new collectors to 3 districts

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has made an administrative rejig at the top level, announcing new district collectors for Idukki, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kottayam. Sheeba George, the current Idukki district collector, has been appointed Additional Secretary of the Revenue Department. Meanwhile, V. Vigneshwari, the Kottayam district collector, will assume the role of Idukki district collector.

In Thiruvananthapuram, Collector Geromic George has been reassigned as the Director of the Backward Class Development Corporation. Anu Kumari, currently serving as the Director of the Kerala State IT Mission, will take over as the new Thiruvananthapuram District Collector. John V. Samuel, the Director of the Backward Development Department, has been appointed the Kottayam District Collector.

Sriram Venkataraman, who has been serving as the CMD of Supplyco, has been appointed as Joint Secretary and Officer on Special Duty in the Finance (Resources) Department. Despite the new appointments, Sheeba George and Anu Kumari will continue to hold their additional existing responsibilities.
